The following letter is from a COA
reader in Slovenija. It would seem that in the midst of the trouble in
Bosnia and Croatia, there have been many mystical and other unusual events
going on over there. There has been sightings of Mother Mary, reports of
other apparitions, and some UFO activity. I want to thank Ishtar for taking
the time to write us and give a first hand experience of what is going
on. The writing was difficult for me read and I've done the best I could
to understand it.

Due to increased UFO activity in Slovenija
and Croatia, we are sending you some interesting sighting reports...
Nov. 17, 1997, 5:05pm: In Yholfana,
(spelling is wrong) capitol city of Slovenija, many witnesses saw bright
green lights, lasting for a few seconds. This phenomena was officially
explained away as a meteor from the Leonid meteor shower. (note: It is
interesting that so many sightings of green lights all over the world about
this same date!)

Dec. 3, 1997, 6:30pm: In Nrastnik, a small
town about 60 km from Yholfana, a witness saw a cloudy, nebulous object
with alternating lights, turning on and off. This object was gliding slowly
until it stopped 100 to 200 meters from a crowd of witnesses. After a few
seconds, it emanated two, wide pillars of light which lasted for 10 to
15 seconds, then the pillars were turned off, like being pulled back up
into the object. Then the object ascended to a higher elevation. A witness
ran home to grab binoculars and when he returned the object was gone.
Dec. 3, 1997, 9pm: In Yholfana, a witness
saw a strange, slow moving white light. The light source was bright, and
shaped like a big spider! The object was gliding slowly and without sound,
at about 50 to 100 meters above the ground in the direction of a local
church. It almost hit the church and in the last moment before colliding,
it abruptly changed direction and disappeared. This event was later confirmed
by other witnesses.
Dec. 13, 1997, night time: Some policemen
and civilian witnesses have seen an unknown object above Pag Island in
Croatia. A spherical object that changed color, speed and course were observed
for a lengthy 5 hour period! Then it flew in the direction of ?(another)
Island and disappeared with a strong flash.
