Jan. 20,2001 Cylindrical UFO, Whitehall, Montana
A 50-yr old man shoveling snow from his walk in Whitehall, Montana this past
Saturday morning (Jan 20) describes quite an unusual experience:  "Sky was
the bluest I've seen it in a long time. It took a second to realize what I
was looking at. I intially had the sensation that someone was watching me
and I looked up to see who was there... It was cylindrical, silver/ white,
shimmering to look at. It appeared to be about the size of a grey hound type
bus. It was almost like I couldn't focus in on it with my eyes. It had
bullet shaped ends...like that of a 25 or 32 calibre. In the direction that
it moved.. it appeared to have a little wing on the side below centre
line... Moved like a small air craft and then slowed down way beyond a fixed
winged aircrafts a stall speed and sort of hovered... Emotionally, it's
spooky. I know for the next few days I'll be watching the skys and at night
, I'll be in a twilight sleep."

Toy top looking saucer Last night, at 4:00 am, my daughter woke me up, and after I got her back setttled in to bed, I went to the bathroom. While I was in there, I looked out the bathroom window, and saw a bright light SW of here, high in the sky. It was not a star, as it would get brighter, than lighter. I only watched it for maybe two minutes, and it "Blinked out" as it had never been there. There were no clouds around it.It also seemed to have a haze around it, that would come and go, depending on how bright it would get. Then tonight, I was letting my cat outside, as it is nice out tonight, at about 5:50, and there it was again!(A very bright light in the sky.) I grabbed my camera, and took a picture, and grabbed my binoculers. It looked like a sideways white neon light, with a blue spike-like thing on top. Almost like a toy top. It was positioned almost sideways. I am still shaking! I have my my parents video camera from filming Christmas stuff, and as soon as I went in the bedroom to grab it, it was gone when I came back. Other dogs in the neighborhood were barking, but my own, wasn't. It may have moved a little from side to side, but hard to tell since my hands were not steady. When I get the film develpoed, I can send it in, as well as a hand drawn picture.NUFORC

very bright egg shaped craft traveling west to east looking to the north to northwest very bright craft was traveling west to east across horizon. Shaped like an egg the craft had now alternating lights of any kind that I could see. It is a very dark night tonight with many stars to use as referance points,so I would say the craft was moving at a fairly fast speed. was able to observe with binoculars, but was unable to identfy any further than to say it was a very bright egg shaped craft. At dawn, police and a Malmstrom AFB helicopter made a search, with negative results. 3/24/97 (Bluebook) Witness: truck driver Ken Williams. One dome-shaped object, emitting a bright light, landed in a ravine. As the witness approached, it took off and settled back, hidden from the highway. Sighting lasted several minutes.  BREKKENS CORNER  8/12/64  (Magonia)  Witnesses gor out of their car to watch an object resembling a "burning haystack," oval or crescent shaped. which rose from the ground, crossed the sky, and was lost to sight in the south.  CANYON FERRY  4/30/64  (Magonia)  Several anonymous adults observed an elongated, glowing object. Two children saw a lighted craft land and take off, leaving four rectangular indentations.  CRAIG  1/1/53  (Bluebook)  8:45 p.m. Witnesses: Warner Anderson and two women. A silver, saucer-shaped object with a red glowing bottom, flew low over a river and then climbed fast in a horizontal attitude. Ten second sighting.  CRYSTAL LAKE  3/9/63  (Magonia)  Amos Biggs observed a silver, saucer-shaped craft with an oval dome, which landed on the frozen lake for 10 minutes. A "door" was opened and then shut, and the craft took off with a buzzing sound.  DILLON  4/3/49  (Bluebook)  11:55 a.m. Witnesses: construction company owner Gosta Miller and three other unnamed persons. One object shaped like two plates attached face-to-face; matte bottom, bright aluminum top; 20' diameter, 4-5' thickness. It rocked or rotated in six cycles, descended, rocked, flew, rocked; all this was very fast.  DUTTON  1953  (Crashes) A man named Cecil Tenny reported seeing a cigar-shaped object, which exploded into tiny balls of fire after about seven minutes. He was asked to come to Great Falls AFB, where he was questioned and required to sign a statement.  ENNIS  7/29/52  (Bluebook)  12:30 p.m. Witnesses: USAF persons, alerted that UFOs were coming from the direction of Seattle, Wash. Two to five flat disc-shaped objects: one hovered 3-4 minutes, while the others circled it. Sighting length of 30 minutes not explained further.  GLASGOW  11/13/52  (Bluebook)  2:43 a.m. Witness: U.S. Weather Bureau observer Earl Oksendahl. Five oval-shaped objects, with lights all around them, flew in a V-formation for about 20 seconds. Each object seemed to be changing position vertically by climbing or diving as if to hold formation. Formation came from the northwest, made a 90* overhead, and flew away to the southwest.  GREAT FALLS  8/5/50  (Casebook)  Nick Mariana filmed two bright, silvery objects over Great Falls, which were also seen by his secretary. The film has stood up over time as unexplainable.  OPHEIM  11/13/52  (Bluebook)  2:20 a.m. Witness: radar tracking by USAF 779th AC&W station. An unexplained track was followed for 1 hour, 28 minutes, at 158,000' altitude (30 miles) and a speed of 240 m.p.h. Radar was FPS/3 (PPI).  YAAK  9/1/52  (Bluebook)  4:45 a.m. Witnesses: Visual sighting by two USAF enlisted men, radar tracking seen by three men using AN/FPS-3 radar set. Two small, varicolored lights became black silhouettes at dawn; flew erratically. One hour.
