Hey, it's me! So, what more do I need to say?

Having met John Licini four years ago, I'm still not sure if it is a blessing or HUGE mistake! A couple years ago, he said "Hey, you know what we should do? We should just load up the kayaks and jump on the river and head to New Orleans for Mardi Gras." Well I thought about that for awhile and it has been "toned down" alittle.

I love to kayak and look forward to the spring runoff each year. I've just never attempted any trip longer than a week river camping before. And I'm giving up the prime whitewater season to do this trip.

Having recently lost a younger brother I am also dedicating this trip to him.

I want everyone out there to know that in Montana we are not all Freemen or Unabomber's. Most of us are just down-to-earth people who love the outdoors. I'm glad they found the Unabomber, though, because I was beginning to suspect John.
