Library and Education Materials
NAMI Montana's staff are available to help consumers and families determine what resources may be available for their situation. We receive questions from across the state and are always happy to do our best to answer them. We also have a full library of brochures, books, and videos about mental illness. Several of these brochures were developed by NAMI, such as: Parents and Teachers as Allies to help families and teachers work together to care for youth with early-onset mental illness, Hearts and Minds which raises awareness about preventing cardiovascular disease among people with mental illness, Breaking the Silence which teaches children about mental illness.

Support Line
Quentin Schroeter, NAMI Montana's office manager, is generally available from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm during the week to talk to consumers and family members about the challenges of living with serious mental illness and the pathway to recovery. You can reach him at (406) 443-7871.
Support Groups
NAMI's affiliates hold a variety of support groups in their communities. The Connections support groups are facilitated by individuals who live with severe mental illness for people who live with severe mental illness. There are also family support groups facilitated by family members of people who live with mental illness for family members of people who live with severe mental illness. Please contact your local affiliates to find out more about their support groups and other resources.
