Todays work contains some special orders and some new pipes for the web catalog. First off is a pipe for Ken Collins. Ken is an old timer <G> and remembered a pipe I made for a shop in 1987:
I think Curt and I made a dozen or so of them, one of which I kept so I still have a model. Bruce remembered the pipe and asked me to make him one: (Bengal finish)
I made this pipe as a special order but it came out a little too well. I ll remake it shortly

My friend Ed Hagan lost out on a Size 4 Tanblast Hawkbill that I made for Gray Fox, I made this for him instead. It s a new finish I m calling Golden Coral:
Bill Calame had an interesting project for me. He was gifted with a large piece of Plateaux briar a couple years back and asked me if I would make him the pipe I was smoking in the P&T article an 87 Christmas Pipe:
Steve Martin sent me a request to copy a size 4 Mastro. This turned into a challenging pipe, especially making the ferrule. I was happy with how it turned out:
Last but not least was another challenging special order a group 3 size Lovat with very specific dimensions for Pat Oakey of Gray Fox
1 5/8 H-1 1/4 wide- pipe without stem 3 3/4 and shank 7/16 with good grain and little or no stain! I figured I d be making a million of them before I got it right. I was lucky and it only took two and he took both:
