Little Blackfoot River – Below Avon

March 7, 2010                                                                                          back to Fishing Journal

The rivers are opening up as the weather warms.  Though barely above freezing, at least until it started to get dark, it was a good opportunity to get over the Continental Divide late on a Sunday before hitting the friendly skies on Monday.

It was perfect time to break out the classic bamboo: The Stoddard’s Special in this case.

Water

The little river was pretty low, but a bit of run off made it a bit murky.  No fish action was seen.

Fishing

Nothing.  Didn’t see any action below or above.
